Many of you already know me as a filmmaker who focuses on environmental protection, traditional health practices and human rights. Over the past several years I’ve been collaborating and sharing information with academics, educators, computer programmers, scientists, healthcare professionals, researchers, students, activists, social change agents, and experts in economics, finance, industry… etc.
I’m inspired by the countless organizations that are diligently working to create more humane and sustainable systems of living. My passion has been to assist in the creation of various much needed programs, educational materials, documentary films and compelling social media. Suffice to say that the tasks have been both daunting and overwhelming. We have much to accomplish and so little time.
During the course of my search for the truth about the dangers, the problems on our planet and the solutions to correct them, I spent a good deal of time on social media sites. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and many other public communication portals have been flooded with misinformation, propaganda and fraudulent accounts. Trolls, censorship, shadow-banning and algorithms make it difficult to navigate through the process of collecting and sharing accurate information.
I decided to create a space where I could share my experiences and offer a safe zone for discussion. In 2016 Earth One Media was conceived. The idea was to stimulate conversation that led to solutions for humanity.
These are the sorts of questions I get each day:
In order to lay the groundwork for this project I recorded video chapters where I share my personal experiences and the information that I have gathered. I wanted to present the material in a variety of formats because I know that everyone has a unique needs; some people prefer to read, some prefer to watch video and some want to listen to audio recordings.
My intention was that by sharing my story people would be motivated to comment and contribute their own knowledge and experiences. We can all learn from and keep each other in check.
The chapters of my “BOOK” are meant to stimulate discussion but you can just enjoy what I have to share with no requirement to participate or comment. It’s completely up to you,
This project is the culmination of over 10 years of work.
I invite you to explore and respond when motivated by the content. Not everything I say will be your cup of tea but I welcome your input and feedback as long as it’s respectful and honest. Please read the rules of conduct before you post. Unethical behavior will not be tolerated. This is a safe place meant to encourage open, meaningful dialogue.
